Thoughts on Kimber Caprivi .375

About 8 resting shots off the bench 2 at a time the rest where field positions. 2 shots sitting and the rest off hand.

I guess I need to tuffin up huh! I honestly think I was having an off day.
It might just take you a while to get used to it

I agree I’ve been out of the magnum game to long. I’ve a soft shoulder!

I have seen that done and it’s a wonderful idea if you have the scope to make it work. So far nothing I have feed it hits the turret.

It feeds empties now after I worked on the massive burrs on the underside of the bolt raceway and polished the feed ramp. Wouldn’t feed anything when I got it. Just locked up. To be fair I’ve had to do it to a few Kimber’s and Montana’s and FN’s and my Ruger Hawkeye 375 Alaskan. That Alaskan was the worst to date. Probably why I got it so cheap when everyone had to have one.
I’m leaning towards a similar setup on a Caprivi 375. Are your Talley Qd rings medium height? If so I assume the bolt doesn’t get too close to the eyepiece bell? Thanks and welcome any suggestions or warnings.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
