Looks like Terminal 2 is closed. The flights from there have been rescheduled to the other two terminals.

I just googled UAE airport closures, I see nothing happening at this time. Closures from back in March?

I also went to Emirates web site, nothing there?

Abu Dhabi closed T2 (back in March) that will not affect Emirates as they fly from Dubai. Etihad flies from Abu Dhabi, and Etihad was having problems before Covid, so that not really surprising.

- Children under the age of 12 and children with moderate to severe disabilities are exempt from PCR test requirements.

Airport procedures
In order to maintain public safety and physical distancing requirements, all passengers departing from DXB are reminded to adhere to the following guidelines:

- Arrive at the airport no more than four (4) hours before your scheduled flight time, and no less than two (2) hours.
- Protective mask must be worn by all travellers.
- Passengers displaying symptoms are advised to not come to the airport and seek medical advice.
- Passengers are further encouraged to consult the detailed information on passenger procedures for arriving, departing and connecting flights, available in the links below.
Airport safety measures
Precautionary measures have been implemented throughout the airport to maintain the health and safety of our customers and staff. These measures include hand sanitiser stations around the airport, protective plexiglass at check-in and immigration counters, thermal and temperature screening, social distancing markers and increased levels of cleaning and sanitisation in compliance with international standards set out by the relevant authorities.
Check your terminal before flying
All Emirates airline flights operate from DXB’s Terminal 3.
All other airlines will operate from either Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.
Accordingly, all passengers must consult their ticket/airline to confirm terminal of operation at all times before coming to the airport.
Dubai Airports continues to be fully committed to supporting the measures being taken to ensure the health and safety of our valued customers, our community and our employees.
We continue to urge you to stay safe.

It might be best you call a travel agent and ask they take over your reservation. The $100 fee saves a lot of stress in situations like this. I was nearly stuck in South Africa this March because flights closing down on me, they definitely earned their fee. I can’t imagine traveling without one now during covid.
