So, I guess that I lied earlier. I shot a red deer spike at the Wendy Lou ranch in Texas a number of years ago, so I may have done the deed, if you count Idaho (ruffed and dusky) grouse and a Texas red.

I think the point of this post is a modified Macnab on an international basis.

So what would be the North American Macnab? One day or career?

Rockfish

I’ve shot a limit of ducks and caught a limit of red fish in the same day.

While you are correct please notice I said our International Carruthers Group have. rested our own version for our enjoyment. Ours requires a minimum of two continents to achieve so I would argue just as difficult to achieve.

I chuckle to myself when thinking of the silly nature of the premise- obviously has roots in a “betcha can’t” challenge after a little too much Scotch. Didn’t even know what a Macnab was until reading about it a few years ago in one of the Africa hunting rags. Looking back… mmm, probably. Can’t remember the exact species but IIRC francolin or sand grouse and a buffalo or eland and a tilapia or bass or barbel in same day. Some combination of those in a day a couple of times without even thinking about it.
