This is the hunt with Tholo Safaris I did the hunt report on. I would expect on even a 7 day hunt to take a kudu in the mid 50's and a big mature eland in the mid 30's. Kudu have been taken here at 65" and eland to 40". The rest of the game is of very good quality but kudu and eland have to be seen to be believed.

Camp is the equal of anything in RSA with AC and full time electricity.

Pricing:

7 day—2 x 1 plains game package $5900 each

This package includes daily rate and trophy fee for:
1 x gemsbok, 1 x kudu, 1 x wildebeest, 1 x eland for each hunter.
Extra animals can be shot for the trophy fee.

10 day Kalahari leopard package $28,900

Includes daily rate and license fee for leopard.
The following animals may be hunted for the trophy fees:
1 x duiker, 1 x eland, 1 x gemsbok, 1 x hartebeest, 1 x impala, 1 x jackal, 1 x kudu, 1 x ostrich, 1 x springbuck, 1 x steenbok, 1 x warthog, 1 x blue wildebeest and 1 x zebra.

Daily rate for non- hunting companion (all safaris) $200 per day each.

I think that's not a bad price at all...for the kudu, eland, wildebeest, and gemsbok....great opportunity especially for a first time hunter to Africa!

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
