My daughter and her family just sent us pictures from our property out on the Washington coast. As per usual, it's too cloudy for my wife and I to see them at our house.

I've only managed to see the Northern Lights once. That was on a moose hunt in B.C.

My understanding is the band is far enough south that you folks are getting a better show than us, and here in Dillingham we're going to be cloud covered in another hour.

I took my snowgo out, away from town. This was my best before it started to diminish.

Enjoy the show my lower 48 AH brethren.

What I find interesting is that large parts of Southern Australia and NZ are experiencing the Aurora Australis tonight. And it’s being seen further North than usual.

I’m wondering if any Kiwis or Aussies will have photos to share.

Yes I found that strange also.

These are the Southern Lights, best I have seen.

I have seen them in Alaska & Greenland & Southern New Zealand.
Always forget to take photos or miss the best shots.

Glad everyone is getting to share the incredible sights so far south and so far north.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
