Thanks for sharing Dave. I would think that a trained dog willing to bite a human that it had been tracking would be of more use in driving a culprit up a tree than one that just barked. Maybe a combination of "bay" dogs and "catch" dogs like what is used for hog hunting would be the ticket.

I agree... Im not at all opposed to giving a poacher a good bite (or 2.. or 3..)...

Great story thanks for sharing

The Bramman's are basically "famous" in my neck of the woods. Altho the article briefly gives a bio what it doesn't mention is that the family is old school land wealthy and I promise they don't need the money so when they allude to them doing it out of loyalty to be good citizens, it's more than even that. Joe's brother, Dan, runs the 100,000 acre family ranch and has his own hunting show, Wildlifers. Joe's dogs are famous for running "cats" in S Tx, mostly bobcats with a few mnt lions. News was leaking out about the project around our parts back in 2017 and the hunting show ran a small clip on the program last year.

The big concern will arrive once the Poachers learn that the dogs won't bite.
News travels fast in Africa.

I wish the program success.

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
