Yes indeed :)

And keep in mind that the USA repealed its COVID entry requirements 10 days ago (June 12), so now, again, all we need to travel to RSA and back is a valid passport :)

As to masks in airplanes, the USA dropped the requirement on April 18

Good news indeed

Returned yesterday from a hunt. Yes, it's all good now other than masks in the airport. Some lady waved a thermometer at me from 25' away as I left the baggage claim area in JNB, but that was it.....never broke stride

I would have thought this thread would've blown up. Not much traffic. Interesting.

Fantastic! Less to worry about on the next safari. The extra ten stops for vax/test checkpoints won't be missed.

On my trip at the first of June there were no lines or real stops to get checked or show your QR code or negative test. You just walked along and paused for a second while they checked your temperature and glanced at your QR code or negative test. I had both and showed both at different times and in no way was I slowed up entering South Africa/

Is the Vax card with QR still required?
Appears it is no longer required. If you have one, probably wise to travel with it just in case they change their mind while you are en route.

Excellent point.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
