TANZANIA: Has Anyone Hunted With Michel Mantheakis Safaris?

My Brother is looking at hunting with Michel Mantheakis in Tanzania in 2021.Anybody able to give me some insight to his operation? Thanks in advance.Leopard,Buffand plains game.

I have not either, but if I was going to hunt in Tanzania that’s most likely the guy I would want. One of his competitors belongs to my local DSC chapter, but given the choice, I would still pick him. Location, location, location.

Michel Mantheakis is a gem of a fellow! He is the only one I know who can guess an elephant's ivory within 3 lbs of its weight on the hoof. He puts lots back into the community. You'll like him.

Have not hunted with Michel's outfit. I did help them move into their booth at this years DSC Convention. The PH's working for Michel had such a strong commitment to service that they were very hesitant to let my move-in team help carry equipment. We had to have a operational pause so that I could explain to them that they were our guests and we were going to treat them with the same hospitality as we receive while in Africa. In the hour we worked with Michel's crew, I was very impressed.

Michael’s area in Massailand is one of the best and he is a great operator. I almost went with him but Nathan Askew @Bullet Safaris made me such a great deal that I went with Nathan instead and was very happy.
