Hello all, our 2026 safari school was a grand success, we will be offering it again this year. This is a great opportunity to come and learn all about hunting Africa. Stew and Rudi with @Tally-Ho HUNTING SAFARIS offer a wealth of information from over 20 years of experience in the safari industry. We cover everything from how to choose a safari to when your trophies are hanging on your wall at home. It is a 3 day 4 night class offing both classroom instruction and hands on stalking and shooting practicals. Additionally, I would like to treat all those who attend to an upland bird hunt. Stew will be offering his latest deals if you choose to book with him and I will be offering a taxidermy special through Top of Texas Taxidermy should you choose to attend.
The dates have not been determined yet but will fall in the timeframe of DSC and SCI. Last year we had a lot of interest, but scheduling became an issue so this year we want to leave it open to those wanting to attend and we will work with your schedules in January as best we can to make sure everyone that wants to attend can.
School includes: guides, meals, lodging, classroom instruction, hands on practicals, shooting drills, and an upland bird hunt.
Cost is $2500 per person. This does not include any pre or post trip expenses nor does it cover a Texas hunting license. Should you wish to hunt anything before or after the school we can schedule an extra day or two and you will have the opportunity to hunt for just trophy fees.
