Could you explain the differences between your product, the Burris, and the Garmin? It would be very helpful to understand your advantages.
Good day Rookhawk.
We haven’t had the opportunity to compare the Burris yet as it is not on sale here in SA, but with reading the wright-up and following the set-up procedure I will give you my opinion. We have however had a number of clients who have owned and sold their Garmin because of them being so difficult to set-up and use. These same people have used a Suresight with unbelievable results.
The main advantages being
1: Set-up : Suresight -- set in your 20 yard pin, select the correct program and you are ready to
hunt, this procedure takes +/_ 15 – 20 min
: Opposition – Both the Garmin and Burris require you to set in individual pins, you are
presented with a shooting pin for a certain distance and then asked if you hit centre or not
The program uses this information to calculate all the distances. If you made a mistake on a
Certain distance it throws your program out and you will often need to start the process
over again, we have many reports of proficient archers taking more than 5 hours doing this
2: Ranging : Suresight – You can range from the hip or at full draw, just put the laser on the target
from any position.
Opposition – You need to be at full draw and line up two points of reference and then
put them together on the target, if you have not completed your set-up 100% this
procedure becomes cumbersome when you are all of a sudden faced with a heart
3: Sight window : Suresight – The Suresight sight window is bigger, which allows your distance, info
and shooting dot to be in the same window (you don’t need to take your eye off
the target to read a distance. The bigger sight window also allows you to shoot
Further distances, up to 120 yards.
Opposition – Display is not in the sight window, max distance 100 Yards
4: Shooting resolution : Suresight – shooting resolution is 0.5mm this means that there is only
0.5mm between shooting dots, allowing for greater accuracy.
Opposition – Shooting resolution around 1mm
5: Shock absorption : Suresight – Brackets are made from a specialised high tech glass filled polymer
used in aeronautics and sports car industry, which helps to absorb shock,
allowing the sight to be quiet and less prone to bending or being damaged.
Opposition: Aluminium tends to carry shock and noise
The Suresight should be available in the USA by March.
Please feel free to mail us with any Queries
I recently purchased a suresight. It is amazingly easy to set up... Took me about 30min and was shooting out to 80yds. I have since shot 4 animals with the it ~ all shots over 60yds. I highly recommend this sight if you want to up your game! It takes a bunch of guesswork out of bowhunting!
Sound good, cant wait to see one in action
Hey Doger, send us a PM and lets see if we can arrange that for you.
