A big federal win at midnight today. The bigger concern is there are 15 States where *technically* new suppressor purchases are now illegal.
Can you clarify what you mean by this?

Will be very interesting to what it does the boutique brands like TBAC they always commanded a premium and wait lists prior to thisWhat will be interesting is to see what a top, top of the line suppressor costs in a year. The reality is that no suppressor is worth $1000, the very best ever made was worth maybe $400 as a machined part. The bureaucracy, gun trusts, serialization, storage pending approvals, slow turn on inventory, expanded warehousing to hold pending transfers, BATF processing, that is where the remaining $600 in MSRP was coming from.
I predict the market caving in. When a guy can make 10,000 units and sell every one of them at a gunshow for a fist full of cash and zero paperwork, the prices will surely come down a lot.
Your experience will be the same for many across the nation, as there is criteria for the ruling that was given, the biggest being located within the District Court, being a Member of Gun Owners of America - GOA. and/or buying from Palmetto Sates Armory- PSA, Silencer Co, Silencer Central in person. Local FFL/SOT will not follow, as there has been zero *Guidance* pushed out, the ruling is only a few days old. Will see what happens. My local guy (Texas) isn't budging until there is clarification on the Federal government's response to the stay and any attempted purchases. There could still be an Appellate stay.
However, the 1968 - GCA still stands as does the 1988 - UFA , the other issue will be the State's with laws or restrictions in place that add layers or out-right hinder ownership of certain firearms and/or accessories. It's obvious that the NFA of 1934 will eventually be gutted, but I don't think we're there yet. We all know the Democrats and activist leftist Judges will roadblock this any way they can, so I don't think the legal wrangling is over.
Realistically though, if tens of thousands of suppressors are sold without a tax stamp and without anything mandated by the GCA, it's going to become increasingly difficult to reverse this.
The Courts, especially SCOTUS, are very reluctant to reverse anything once there's been a certain amount of water under the bridge.
I believe you dont have to buy in person from places like silencer shop as long as the suppressor goes through their participating dealer network where you pick from one of their dealers listed on their site. It will ship direct to your local dealer and because they are part of the class they would then be allowed to transfer that suppressor to you using just the 4473. At least that is what I am reading on how this is being interpreted as the correct legal standard right now.Your experience will be the same for many across the nation, as there is criteria for the ruling that was given, the biggest being located within the District Court, being a Member of Gun Owners of America - GOA. and/or buying from Palmetto Sates Armory- PSA, Silencer Co, Silencer Central in person. There will have to be *Guidance* given from the DoJ/AG - BATFE regarding this ruling, in addition State's Rights are still in effect, so millions of people will be excluded due to State Laws .....

I will say this. We did not start selling any today without the standard as always form 4 being submitted. Two other shops here did same as us. One close by in about 40 miles of us did. Heard they sold over 150 today.
We are waiting on more clarification! There are restrictions on how they were acquired to be transferred under this new plan. Also trusts are not accepted its individual purchase.
This confusion and chaos will escalate it and increase the chance of it being heard by the USSC. A person or business will be charged. Or a business will bring a case that they are being harmed.
The chief fly in the ointment is if the Democrats eventually gain control of all
Three branches of government. And pack the Supreme Court as promised.
Gray area also right now, for your local dealer.
It depends on how your local dealer acquired the suppressor. Under the guidelines. It had to come from one of the plaintiff’s. Silencer Shop, Silencer Central etc. If your local dealer acquired strait from manufacture like Banish, Dead Air etc. those suppressors still have to be Form 4 for them to sell. Only suppressors bought thru one of the plaintiff’s are eligible for direct 4473 transfer. Per way law and regulations read. So we were told yesterday. Still waiting on ATF or DOJ official notice before we proceed with doing any without Form 4 approvals.
Just curious, Are you processing all models this way, or specifically the ones named as plaintiffs?Well. Clarification was received and we are processing under new guidelines.
Trusts are not applicable anymore in the state.
Not sure how it effects taking out of state or overseas. We are selling on 4473 as of this morning.
I picked up a Lyman Skarv (rimfire suppressor) recently. Im actually going to shoot it for the first time tonight.. Im excited to see how it stacks up against my buddies award winning titanium can..Just curious, Are you processing all models this way, or specifically the ones named as plaintiffs?
And do you sell the Lyman ones? I know myself and mdwest have been keeping eyes out for the Rekkr unit.
