Stop buying goods made in China..now..!

They make apple phones and we bitch about them stealing our technology. Why wouldn't they. Unless I'm missing something.

I haven't seen that this bug is anything more than nature evolving. It could well have happened anywhere.

Lest we forget, China is going to pay a price for this bug as much as anyone. It's simply a tough time for those of us on this Earth.

Be safe everyone...and remember that bullets aren't the only thing.

Its good to see you got you prioritizing right but why only one bottle.
Cheers mate Bob

I like the idea; but it is just not possible....

I am writing this on a keyboard-made in China, I can see what I write on the screen, made in China, both are connected to a laptop, made in China, via a docking station-made in China.

I am wearing normal standard bigstore clothing, at least 50% of it was made in China. I go out with my dog and put on my Norwegian top brand Goretex jacket, label inside says made in China. Doggys gear are also probably made in China.
Most of the parts in my british car was made in China.

I am having fish for lunch, frozzen cod. Processed in China
I need something for my headace (who woulndt get one from thinking of this China-stuff??); guess what? 80% of the ingridients of worlds pharmachuticals are made in China.

The western world is very set on destroying it self.
And as a bonus; China is treated as a developing country. We are actually paying to get fu...d by them..
Well said. And you didn't even mention Walmart - directly. I wonder how much a pair of good ol' Levis would cost if made in the US by AMERICANS.

I don't think the CCP caused the virus that led to the pandemic, but they sat on the information until it got out of hand and spread to the rest of the world. Possibly could have been stopped without the current loss of life and economic pain if honest reporting had been allowed. That said, this has nothing to do with buying Chinese goods and probably should be addressed in another thread.

I mean no offence, but this virus situation'll have to get a lot worse before I resort to drinking anything as horrid as Tequila. I mean, sure, if you've no other hand sanitizer, maybe it'd have a place...

I am not sure about outsourcing manufacturing in China, but I believe to operate a business inside China (a huge and tempting market), a foreign company has to have a Chinese 51% "partner" to do business inside the country. This then allows them to steal all the intellectual property and give it secretly to Chinese companies to duplicate. In the Chinese culture, the ideas of patents and trademarks are not appreciated and are even looked down on. In China, if a citizen creates something, they are supposed to share it with the rest of the people so all can benefit from it. This is precisely one of the reason why the western countries usually lead the world in R&D while China and others steal it. These things are slowly changing in China but not fast enough and trillions have already been lost by western companies, which has been what Trump has been saying all along. Why our past administrations allowed all of this to happen is mind blowing.

On a conservation/poaching note, the Chinese woman that was our tour guide, even being an educated woman and a local teacher, totally believed in the Chinese beliefs about "traditional medicine" such as tiger bone soup making you strong, deer antler velvet and rhino horn making men more "manly", etc... It's no wonder that the African poaching is still a major problem due to Asian culture and outdated traditions!

I guess I am missing something here. How did the communist regime in china cause this epidemic?

This is the Third malign flu coming out of China..ie viruses that transmit from animals to humans, presumably via mutations..

Swineflu, SARS and now this...this virus that threathen to brake us, healthwise and economically..

What the chinese government SHOULD have done a long time ago is to bring the private foodmarked under resonable control...the previous outbreaks should have been a major wake-up Call..

Very little if anything was done...and here we are..largely due to a regime thats immune to critic and hostile towards the west..

Swineflu, SARS and covid..
The other thing, for future prevention of Chinese pandemics, to implement visa for Chinese travelling to all countries, only after verified 14 days quarantine. Even that would not be 100%. International flag ships in container export ports cannot work based on quarantine 14 days delay.

The reason that Italy is so affected is that they are part of the chinese "New silk road" Project...With hundreds of chinese workers in the country and airline routes directly from several chinese cities to Italy..this is hardly mentioned in the media..

That and in addition the population is older, it is common for generations in the same family to live together and their public healthcare system is inadequate.

Scott, you are correct..except that Public Healthcare in Northern Italy that is most hit actually is on par with the rest of western Europe...in the Southern Italy, not so much..

Thank God Bundy is still made in Australia mate. If it was made off shore I would have to become a tea totler. Hush my mouth God forbid that happening.
Cheers mate Bob
You can’t take the great Aussie spirit away. You can’t make it anywhere else.
I took a litre of Bundy to share on my African Safari, I opened it on the last night and they seemed to step around it, oh well, I didn’t mind there beer, the local Beers I tried were fine. They had local wines that I didn’t mind. Schweppes mixers got me I just thought they are an Aussie brand.

I don’t know if China are to blame. Unfortunately we buy from them
Aussies were going to boycott Bali when they were going to shoot a girl convicted of smuggling Marijuana to Bali.
We soon forgot and the young ones kept going.
Anyway it’s probably North Korea who developed such a morbid bloody disease.

All one needs to do is read about the Chinese famine to understand communist ideology. Regardless of cost, failure of the system is never to be exposed and the ideology hasn't changed much since that time. What little that has changed was forced on them by globalism.
