The Guides (Outfitters guide and Government guide) had packed up the gun and were getting into the car after the 4 of us had made a loop around a rather precarious side hill glassing. Main query was Ibex but Gina had a roe deer tag for the off chance we might see a decent one.
I was taking one last look at the wheat field edges when I spotted this guy about 250 yards away. He was 228 by the time I ranged him with Gina's Swarovski's. She was getting the gun just in case and our guide quickly decided this was the one he had seen weeks ago and had in mind if we could find him again. Keep in mind this is totally free range hunting.
Gina stalked in to about 100 yards and dropped him in his tracks, as she usually does
I ran across a message from you a couple of years ago while I was going through old emails. I have arranged a second bison hunt in Nebraska in September 2024, about 6-years after the first, when my supply of bison meat was exhausted. My email is [redacted].
