Great info. Thanks for the time to complete the trip follow up. I will be chasing Vaal, klipe and mountain reed bucks summer of 2026 and your info will be helpful and having me watch more videos.
Thank you for sharing this amazing trip, even with the ups and down, I believe it was after all a successful hunt. The great animals you took were hard earned, which in my humble opinion adds to the memories of the hunt. The EC has showed me that it's not an easy place to hunt, and nothing it's a guarantee there.
You have earned some life long memories. The EC is such varied terrain and each has it's own beauty.
I am happy for you to get your grysbok! Both the cape and sharpes took me two trips.
I also owe you an apology from when we spoke before your hunt to not mention stiffer boots for the mountain animals.
The klippies will be easier to find in limpopo, I have never seen one in the EC in 3 trips, know there are some but
thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
hey bob , new on here. i specifically joined to enquire about a 444 you built on a Enfield 4-1 you built . who did the barrel and what was the twist and profile specs ? look foward to your reply . cheers
