Ok, so Tim (Blacks), myself, our wives and Tim's 2 girls are off to annoy Marius and the team at KMG next July. We booked a fair way out and finally it's under a year until we smack down in Port Elizabeth. Can't wait..... We have both just locked away airfares which kind of makes it seem a little closer for the moment...... Now to save some more coin after paying airfares so that Marius can get his hands on some Cheers, Mark.
Funny you should use the phrase "smack down in Port Elizabeth. PE is known as the "Windy City" and I think the hardest landing I ever lived through was on Mango (discount airline of SAA) when landing at PE in May 2016.
I'm sure Blacks and I will try and change that with a little help from some Queensland Diesel Thanks for the heads up..... Cheers, Mark.
Ok it's time for family car washes, cutting the neighbors grass, baby sitting.........put the kids to work there is hunting to do!
Very much looking forward to it. My second African safari and first in South Africa. You're right Mark, booking the flights certainly makes it seem much closer. The family and I are doing a week's hunting with Marius and then three weeks of touring. Ragman, we are there July 1-9. Cheers Tim
Can't take what you haven't got....... I didn't feel the luuurve from the 300h&h so it had to go but I do from my 9.3x62 and my 30-06 which I will be taking both by the looks of it... Cheers, Mark.
Not sure, but some rifles do it for you and some just don't. I like the 300h&h but I can live without it.....
Not really. Only have a few loaded rounds left and some 180gr Woodleigh's which I can use in my 30-06... Cheers, Mark.
OK guys, So on my wishlist at present for this hunt I have - Nyala Eland Bushbuck Zebra Blesbok As always, I'm already thinking 'add-ons' should something good cross our path. I'd be interested in hearing from folks who have hunted the East Cape, and more specifically with KMG, about what animals I should be considering as extras! I already have Kudu, Oryx, Springbok, Impala, Warthog etc.....so I'm really thinking of unique EC species.... Cheers Tim
