I have heard rumors about unrest in South Africa. The rumors revolve around RSA taking land from the current owners. Since I am planning on hunting dg there in July, this is of intense interest to me. Does anyone know what, if anything, is going on? Thanks

Unless something happens between now and then, it’s as safe as it was last year. The land discussion has been going on for years, but it appears they’ve moved forward with allowing land to be taken without compensation, but not yet put into practice. I wouldn’t go to South Africa as a tourist in Johannesburg, but picked up and accompanied by a PH you are in good hands.

Love to hear more on this, rsa politics hard to follow from the USA. Amongst the consensus in the ph community is the new US pressure on this issue welcomed?

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
