SOUTH AFRICA: Lalapa Safaris

Some nice trophies. Sounds like a great hunt. Congrats. Bruce

Congrats for a great hunt !

After 30 days in quarantine, I finally picked up our skulls and hides yesterday. They were in great shape and just slightly over 6 months to get them here. It was great to see them again and now it's off to the taxidermist!

Just the typical CFIA nonsense. All African animals coming in through Calgary must go to CFIA taxidermist for secondary treatment. They even quarantined my roe deer from Poland recently even though skulls were perfect and Europe is not on the list. Anti hunting agenda is all I can see!

Makes you want to scream. I bet that Bovine TB case was caused by a trophy shipment. :E Doh:

Glad your trophies made it in safe and sound.

Congrats on getting your skulls. I like the hyena skin in the background- different trip ?

Yes both the spotted and brown are from Namibia.
