As they have only quoted air shipment to my city they haven't mentioned anything about an import broker. So is that something EagleEye does or is the importer my responsibility? And do I need an import agent for both air and sea (assuming yes)? Thanks

You don’t have to hire a broker, there are some on the forum that have cleared shipments themselves. I personally have used D&L out of Chicago and multiple clearances by Coppersmiths in Atlanta. Good service from both. I for one don’t have the patience to deal with the governmental red tape so to me it’s money well spent.

I enlisted the services of Wyatt at Safari Specialty Importers to broker the rest of the process. Right before the holiday break they were waiting on Eagle Eye to get the permits to ship. Still waiting on that to clear now that things have opened back up after the holidays. Hopefully should hear something from them soon.

Crickets from Eagle Eye since mid December. I'd just like to know what the cost of shipping by sea is so I can make an informed decision and move the process along..it will be 2 years coming up in June..the taxidermy is done we just need to get it home. I've heard that only a few ships import out of SA to Houston a year and that's part of the problem but ? just asking EE to keep us informed!
