You are probably not going to get an answer. These threads usually go unanswered. There are a lot of outfitters and PHs in South Africa (particularly Limpopo near Johannesburg) because the requirements are quite easy compared to elsewhere and game is readily available. 90% of Limpopo outfitters are offering nearly the same basic hunt. What I’d ask to separate them from others is the amount of property they hunt and their years of experience hunting their core properties, how many hunters they take per year, how many PHs they employ and for how long, driving time from lodge to properties, how many other hunters in camp. I’d also speak to them directly and see if they are people you even want to hunt with. Most Limpopo outfitters are employing the same ranch hopping model. Base at a lodge or camp, go to property X for species X and go to property Y for species Y, pay the landowner for trophy after the hunt, a few own their own farms or have exclusive use of properties. If you just have general requirements for a first hunt, I’d ask some of the sponsors here the same questions and pricing so you can compare.
