I had the honor of hunting with Juan and Lauren of LJ Safaris recently
and must say what I awesome time I had.If anyone wants a great place
to hunt you must give them a call believe me you wont be sorry.Juan
is the real deal .the man knows his stuff. The hunting area is off the
charts absolutely outstanding. The operation is first rate food the lodge
the people .also Lauren is really first rate.I could go on and on but
this typing stuff not so hot.

You should elaborate, regardless on how bad you suck at typing. Pictures, what did you shoot, game plentiful, etc....

Hell, you don’t have to be a Hemingway to be part of this group of monkeys.

I am glad you took the time to post. Thanks for doing so.

Hi All

Just a short description of this hunt, Mark had 3 main species on his list, Bushpig, Bushbuck and Common Duiker and then we were planning on a few cull animals. We gave enough days for the bushpig to try be as successful as possible. We picked Mark up from Port Elizabeth and got to the lodge around 3pm, unpacked checked the rifle and went to a lookout to see what we could see, what do you know there are 3 bushpig in the river below us. We moved around and started a long stalk up river to see if we could be lucky to shoot a bushpig in day time, we took our time and when we got there 2 of the 3 bushpig were in the water busy eating water lilies, there was a nice boar, Mark got on the sticks and made a great shot, bushpigs downon the first afternoon in day time.

The following days we tried hunting bushbuck, we saw lots and looked them over and did this for a couple of days. One afternoon we saw 4 rams and there was an old ram and we decided to stalk him and again a great shot was made and we had a bushbuck down. We did not manage to connect with a Duiker, saw lots but just never got into the right position. In the following days we shot 4 cull warthog and 3 cull Impala. We also managed to shoot a cull zebra.

It was a great hunt all round.

Thank you for the report and telling us all about the hunt. It looks like you have great animals and run a smooth operation.
