Was just down to the Marysville WA (Tulalip) Cabelas and they had two Ruger No. 1 rifles at a very good price NIB. One in .450-400 and one in .375 H&H. They were both at $799.00. If anyone is looking for one or the other, that's a good price.

yes I do, but I will likely have to wait a bit (I keep forgetting im broke). I bought my first house about a month ago and its been consuming all my finances.

they need weight added! all the large bore No. 1's ive handled have been much too light for caliber.

I've shot Charlies 458 Lott. It's not to bad. Actually about the same as my 450/400 . I think his Lott weighs more.

I believe the 416 and 458 bore Ruger No. 1 rifles were made with a heavier barrel contour, and are heavier (D Weight) than the 450/400 rifles. But, there were a small number of the 450/400 caliber guns made with the heavier barrel as well. This dealer has (or had) some of them.
