Shooting Jim Corbett's .450/400 NE (The Tiger Rifle)

WOW.......what a privilege!!! Thanks for sharing.

Very happy for you! You had to feel the history of it in your hands!

I am truly bitter with envy. Good job on the video!

Nice video. Like many I am also envious of the gentleman that shot this fine rifle.

Wow, what a treat.
I have Man Eaters Of Cumaon. Mr. Corbett had nerves of steel.

Great video, thanks for sharing

Thank you Cameron. Good to see this rifle being shot, in addition to being well cared for.

A truly beautiful old double with so much history - it doesn't get much better than this.

If only I had one of these, when I went after my 3 man eaters.

400Gr Labor Fur Ballistik TMR copper jacketed soft points traveling at 2100 fps could hammer any Royal Bengal tiger with ease.

It’s also interesting to note that Yusuf S. Ahmad (the first Chief Conservator of Forests of Pakistan, my predecessor and the author of “With The Wild Animals of Bengal”) also preferred to use a W.J. Jeffrey .450/400 Nitro Express 3” boxlock ejector double rifle (which he purchased in 1939). Between 1939 and 1948 … he took 7 man eating tigers, 3 rogue elephants and a huge crocodile with that rifle.
