Google Maps guesstimate of the areas of concern for flooding.

Kruger and surrounds are experiencing the effects of an unbelievable amount of rain more towards the south and west along the escarpment.
The river systems drain east....through or past Kruger.
Our farm in the mountains near Tzaneen received 845mm from friday till noon today......however our game farm close to Hoedspruit only received 280mm from saturday till today. The area is a no-go zone.
But the veld will be stunning for winter and hunting.....

Appreciate your sense of humor-hope the rains bring your farm good grazing and the excessive flooding passes quickly.
Interesting how the rain/snow (at my home) can be very hit or miss from one season to the next.

Sad to read this news. Hopefully the silver lining is some water will fill their reservoirs, lakes, and streams.

Jacques Tredoux told me last week he has wildfires occurring around his home in the Cape area.

Floods are devastating, and the poorest get hammered the worst.

Lot of flooding in Limpopo…some small roads wiped out.

Isn't this a lot of same areas that were flooded in late Feb/Early Mar?

Spoke with Jacques today. Both he and Nadia are safe and not in any danger. His parents were there today and they are in no danger as well.

It's sad to see the flooding damage. Parts of Kruger may not open for a long time. Dieter's avacado farm has a lot of damage. Some parts of SA would love to have any rain while others suffer.
