Hi Lads,

I am about to purchase the Docter Sight C Red reflex sight. My intention is to mount it directly on top (not on the side) of a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56mm for quick target acquisition and close range shots.

Does anyone know of a mounting system that will work i.e fitting red dot to scope tube.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Don’t know what action you will be using but I have a Burris mount that does what you want.

I’ve seen a number of scope mounted Weaver and Picatinny rails and had one on my 17HMR for a spotlight. I believe mine came with the Lightforce lamp. SPUHR has some on offer. EAW makes Docter(Noblex) mounts that allow attaching Docter directely to scope ring rather than the scope tube. Below is a screenshot of their website showing this solution.

Seems like that would put a lot of rise between bore and sight plane? Targets would need to be large I would think for this to work well.

Yes, I am interested in some A Frames to load, if they are the 300 grain or other that will work for Cape Buff. I need enough to work up a load and sight in, then carry over there

Greetings Mr. Rutledge. My apologies for the latent reply, cell/email prohibited during working hours, apx 72 a week, yikes! I just wanted to thank you for keeping me in mind for possible 577 loads. I actually purchased a few rounds, however, the firearm is still on the fence at this point.
Many Thanks, again. Regards, Dan.
