I ran across this new, unfired in the box, Sako AV Fiberclass 416 Remington Magnum recently, and couldn't help myself! Made around 1989 or 1990, it's hard to imagine this rifle has never been shot and is still like new! Even the box is in nearly perfect condition. Now for the details.
Holds four rounds in the magazine.
Steel floor plate and bottom metal.
24" barrel with excellent sights.
Weight 8lbs 6oz
Stock is a McMillan, but came from the factory this way. Hence the "Fiberclass" designation.
Feeds very smoothly and has a perfect trigger.
This is the second one of these that I've owned, but by far the nicest. The other one had been used quite a bit and some one did a hack job on attempting to "bed" the action. Although it did shoot very well.
I'm hoping this one shoots as well as it looks!
