Safely shoots .458 Lott ammo in .450 Ackley rifle?

Hello,
I seek professional advice. I have been told by a PH on my last hunt in Botswana that he can safely shoots .458 Lott and .458 Win ammunitions in his .450 Ackley rifle and he has been doing this for quite a while. Can these .458 Lott and Win ammos be fired with other .450 Ackley rifles?

the anwser is YES i have a brno 602 450ackley and i can shoot all 458 win mag and lott no issues

I thought the 458 Win Mag and 458 Lott headspaced on the belt. Where are they "headspacing" in a 450 Rigby? Doesn't sound safe to me.

It’s the 450 Ackley that OP was seeking info about. I believe it’s still based on the 375 H&H so still has the belt.
