One of my Rutting Tahr wall pedestals.
Fluffy.....and Mane standing.
Amazing, just like a real one. You would need to mount near a fan so it looked like the wind was ruffling it.
Most taxidermists can't get the mane to stand up like that.
Really amazing. Excellent job.
That is an awesome mount. The tahr in my avatar needs to be done. Until now I couldn’t find what I was looking for to display him. Can’t do a full mount and a normal shoulder mount didn’t look good to me. Looks like he is going to make a trip to Texas.
More like Michigan.....
The only thing wrong with this mount is it makes the hunters other taxidermy work near him look so-so.
I have to say I have a few taxidermists in driving distance that participate in SCI's big show. It was worth it to me to ship this cape to Dennis to mount. Look at it daily over my desk and the craftsmanship is outstanding.
They did a very good job crating and shipping several mounts back to me at the same time, and the cost via common carrier was very fair IMO.
