If we consider that Bill Ruger had them machined with the sight rib, and bottom reinforcing rib machined in one piece they are (IMHO) near the ultimate rifle barrel. Ask a barrel maker to do it, and the cost would run well into four figures. Nowadays near a collectors piece. I'd love to have a peek into Krish's gunroom ....Once in great while you see one. I picked up one.

Swara, Mate, Love to accommodate you but in this case, sorry, no. I read your post in bed, and couldn't get to sleep for hours, laughing so much; I still am ... Have fun over there, Mate.@geoff, off topic here. But I supose you could always sell that barrel to me and I could fit it to my RSM 375 h&h as I already have the magazine follower and other bits, if anything to take pitty on me and stop the temptation of having me go out and buy another Rigby Gig Game to Match my 450.
I got these machined. The under lug for rsm. Below the barrel. It took 6 hrs for the first one and there after 4 hrs for each. Looks simple but lot of measurements. If we consider that Bill Ruger had them machined with the sight rib, and bottom reinforcing rib machined in one piece they are (IMHO) near the ultimate rifle barrel.
