Ruger Mk77 RSM 416 Rigby

Yes sir! I have looked through both and I agree with you. I guess my biggest thing is deciding not only if which acope but which power range. I know the 1x are the go to for Africa it seems, but they dont let in near as much light as something with a 40-42mm objective.

My current scope on the 375 is 1-6x24. When I shot my buff this year it was right at dark and I would have loved to have had something a little better in low light.
If that's the case I would definitely go with the VX5-HD 2-10x42 with Firedot Reticle. That 2 power will work just fine in close situations with buffalo and the 10 power is there if you need to reach out, and you get the 42mm objective for light gathering. It's actually priced a little better than the 1-6. Talley 30mm quick detachable rings are my favorite mounting option.

Thats kinda what I am leaning towards. I am a huge warne fan for rings, so would definitely run their QD mounts. I have them on all my rifles and have never had a issue. I have heard great things about Talley, but have just always used Warne.

Warne makes good stuff. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
