As a follow up .... Although Beau made a diligent effort to identify the stock maker by searching the barrel channel, in this case the barrel channel was hollow-out - perhaps for lightening the stock, or for adding lead shot to add weight to the rifle. Regardless, since the barrel channel was altered it left no room for a stamp. So, the maker stamped his work under the grip cap. It is stamped LGMews - This stock was made by Lenard Mews.

I took this rifle to the range today ... factory 175g factory ammo had 5 shots into under an inch at 100 yds. ... this is a keeper. I think I might add some weight in the forearm pockets.

I guess you don't understand what CAPS LOCK means.

He’s a Grandpa, we may seem Old and cranky sometimes but having a Grandson means it’s all about them.

My Grandson is nearly 11months and the best thing since sliced bread, But, he might favour using his left hand atm. I guess I’m on the lookout for a lefty rifle soon.
