Well it’s out
Ruger has the new ruger Hawkeye African in 30-06 which is sick looking! They also have a Ruger Hawkeye in 308 stainless anniversary edition too! My wallet just cannot take this
The 30-06 is a must for me!!!! What do you guys think?

Hopefully there will be left hand version.
Probably not....

Have you seen one or a picture? I have been wishing (and bugging Lipsey’s) for one since they introduced the African model.

I just saw a picture and a MSRP over $4000. In my opinion a stupid option with gold engraving and a 22” barrel. I do not understand why Ruger will not make a bolt action .30-06 in a barrel length longer than 22”.

Yeah it’s on their website but I agree with you maybe this means they make a regular one in the African model but in 24 inch

$4000..... Nope. Not this time, Ruger. $1299 for the African was good, in my opinion. Let's stick to that. (Of course, I'm not a bona-fide collector, so many of you may disagree. If you get one, post a pic!"

That is a good looking rifle! Wish they would make the regular African in 30-06. $4500 is a little out of my price range.

For that price it better have grade 8 wood on it!

I’m a Ruger fan, but no sir!

If Ruger can get into the suppressor business and every other venture including make parts for other manufacturers, then why can’t Ruger make the RSM magnum action and sell it in the white?

Also, I’d like to see a 7x57 version of the recent stainless 9.3/35whel with laminate stock and a .458win also.

I will buy a couple of their claasic tang safety ruger 77s like at least 4 for that price .I just got the tangsafety 220 swift ruger 77 sited on superbaccurate .I cant wait to load some speer gold dot 55 gr super fast for doe hunrs .

They do have a nice 308 stainless pretty decent price just it an African standard Hawkeye

Way too much money for the fancy wood and floor plate art work. As stated above they need to do the African in '06.

Be cheaper to buy the 270 or 35 whelen African and just have a barrel swapped.
The extras may be worth it to some but it doesn’t seem we live in a society anymore who cares about these special editions enough to fund half a safari trip.
