Ruger African 9.3x62

I had heard rumblings of a recall so I just called Ruger and was told that they have issued a service bulletin, not a recall.

The reason I was given was that they may have assembled some rifles with a part that may not be up to Ruger’s specifications.

Call or email and give them your serial number. They will issue an RMA and call tag.

The following is the email I received from Ruger customer service :


“ Please reply with the serial number of your Hawkeye African Rifles. Please include all of your contact and shipping information.

Of course mine is in the number range. ‍
