RSM .416 Rigby For Sale

Did you ever sell this rifle? Looks like it is in Perfect condition.

That's a cool sling! Who is the maker?
That is a copy of a standard John Rigby Sling. It just doesn't have the stamped Rigby name on each end.

Beautiful rifle, excellent condition!

Have put 30-40 rounds through it since the pics were made. Lots of fun to shoot....steel plates at 200 and 300 yds for me. My son can reach out there to 500 on a good day! Never been hunted though and no scope ever mounted.

Rifle has sold, pending transfer of funds. Thanks for the many contacts I have had on this rifle!

If I could handle a 416 Rigby, I’d get this. Unfortunately I didn’t do well with the ones I have tried including an RSM. Just too wimpy I guess:(.
These are very nice guns!
Sierraone has a beautiful rifle for sale. I was just curious as to the recoil of the Rigby, having never shot one. My CZ .458 WM’s recoil isn’t bad at all to ME, but I’ve read here on AH that the Rigby’s recoil is very sharp? Thanks!

I find a 416 rigby easier to shoot than a 458WM... a lot depends on the rifle though (weight, stock design, recoil pad, etc.)

Chuck Hawks recoil table shows both recoil energy and recoil velocity to be lower in the Rigby..

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
