The best time is end of May until 15 of June.
Location: Romania, Cluj county, 75 kilometers from Cluj-Napoca international airport
Dates: From 25 of May to 15 August 2025
The offer includes
• 2 roebucks any size
• 3 days and of hunting (1 guide per hunter)
• 4 night’s accommodation (single occupancy) on full board basis excluding drinks
• Transfer to the hunting area and back to the airport
• All transport in hunting area 4x4
• Romanian hunting license
• First preparation of trophies
• Preparing the papers for the export (CITES, customs declarations, etc)
Not included:
• Flights to Romania
• Rental of the firearm at 50 euros per day if necessary
• Shipping of trophies to your home address
• Drinks, extras and personal expenses
• price for non-hunter is 200 euros/ night

If any of you are wanting to hunt roe deer this is THE place. Marius is the ultimate professional and will go out of his way to make sure you have a great hunt. I had the pleasure of hunting with him last May. It was first class all the way, the scenery is amazing, and the Romanian people are very welcoming.

On a side note, There is a wily old roe buck that keeps giving hunters the slip. Someone needs to finally outfox him.

I hunted with Marius in 2022 and I think this is the exact same area. It was a really good hunt with plenty of nice bucks, fantastic hilly environment and Marius is a VERY professional hunter! I've hunted for nearly 15 years and I regularly see roe deers from my house, yet I learnt a lot from him during our hunts.

I've got a big hunt the first of March and my daughter decided to get married in Alaska the end of July so tying up my free time away from work a bit.

Go ahead and put in on the calendar, and I guarantee that you will find a way to make it happen. Work scheduling is always hard, but a thought on money. Two buddies, on two separate occasions, remarked that they were (1) mules pulling a heavy wagon in regard to supporting his family and (2) cogs in a money-spending machine. In response, I have, and they have, opted to set aside a little bit of money to fund stuff for themselves. The guy who made the cog comment is one of my main hunting buddies. I have a little system/game that I follow to entertain myself. Whenever I get change that includes $5 and $1 bills, I set it aside in my gun cabinet. When the money begins to get unwieldy, I take it to the bank and swap it all for $100 bills. Sometimes, I invest in the market to make it grow, too. I’ve paid for a lot of fun trips and goodies that way. Good luck.

The nice thing about roe deer hunting is it’s May-August. Prime is early spring and rut but if a person is only looking for 2 bucks they’ll get them at any point during season most areas. It will just be much more first and last light than the prime times. If someone wants to they can always find a few days off work or an extended weekend during that time. Hunt, flights, a hotel on final night, some small tips this hunt would be right at $3650 or $10 a day for a year. Once it goes on the calendar and a deposit is paid excuses usually find a way of disappearing.

I may be wrong but the way I read it the size prices are for wild boar which are offered on a “by chance” basis.
