I have a Rigby silent sling for sale. I tied it onto Mama's rifle once and she said she didn't like it, so it was never used. $100 shipped inside lower 48.

Safe shooting

Neat!
Out of curiosity… could it be expected to live a long life for seasonal hunting? My least favorite shoestrings are that thin leather stripping because they break with use. Do you think it would stand up to bouncing on your shoulder over hill and dale throughout a lifetime of deer seasons?

I cannot answer that reliably as it is a very subjective question. The life cycle of any kit depends on how it is used/abused, what conditions it is subjected to and how it is maintained.

Some people can make things last, and others can break ball bearings. My in-laws come to mind when I think of people that can break ball bearings.

I must admit I never did anything to care for the shoestrings hahahaha

I had one fail due to a manufacturing defect. Rigby replaced it for free.

Looking for shipping advice. I will be hunting in Limpopo in March, and was wanting to know a general idea of shipping costs to return my mounts to the US when completed. Air or sea? Only plains game hunting.

Good morning 7MAG. I have a NEW, never mounted, Leupold M8-4X Extended Eye Relief scope that I will sell you for $325 shipped to you. I was a Leupold rep for 12 years and this was always our preferred mounting for a lever gun, scout rifle style.

You’ve got an interesting screen name. Will the Thrill provided lots of great times for me as a lifelong Giants fan. Even though I never met him, a number of buddies either duck hunted or shared a dugout with him. He’s a great guy according to those guys. Cool screen name and if that’s your real name, it’s a great one.
