I was being a smart arse. I guess the Aussie humour is lost at times.
I was doing the same listing watch and boots as a tribute to the never ending threads on those 2 topics.

I vacillated between posting this here or in Show Us Your Highland Stalker . Both threads are in need of some invigoration. ;)

Spotted this target of opportunity, first thing yesterday morning, mooching around at about 200 metres . After a wee stalk, it was sticks up, then a holler of 'Oi' to stop him momentarily for the Highland Stalker to deck him.

It transpired he was a mangey and undersized specimen. Had that been evident when he was first spotted, maybe a lesser rifle would have been pressed into service. :ROFLMAO:

But it was, nontheless, another successful Croc hunt with the little Rigby as the 250th anniversary year ebbs to a close. :ROFLMAO:

@R eight ... the timepiece was a Timex Expedition TW4B14000 :ROFLMAO:

Both Marc Newton and Buzz Charlton would be impressed by the kit! Well done, sir!

I thought so too - I couldn't resist. :ROFLMAO:

Here are 2 bucks from this season taken with my Rigby 30/06, according to Rigby, made in 1925 for a woman.
Beautiful!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
