There are many reloading die sets available on fleabay right now, in many African hunting calibers. There is a very nice custom 5 die set for the 450/400 made by the Hollywood Gun Shop (maker of VERY strong presses and custom/semi-custom dies in common and uncommon calibers, up until the early 2000's.) The same seller has die sets for many other African calibers like 404J, 500NE, 460WTHBY, 470NE, 450NE etc. I bought an extra cannelure tool from them just because it was a good price. Cannelure tools are a GREAT tool for the reloader to have for heavy recoiling calibers to avoid common problem with reliability in handloads because the cannelures are in the wrong place for your particular load, or the bullet you want to use does not have a cannelure. There are many cannelure tools on fleabay right now, which is kind of unusual.

Just FYI

$400 for a set of RCBS does seems a bit steep to me. If that’s your only option, they are indeed listed.

That is for a 404J set. You can buy a new Redding set for $210 at Graf & Sons. I always thought Redding dies were better quality that RCBS anyway. I do not reload that caliber, so maybe there is something about that I don't know. The things I bought were about 60 percent less than new price.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
