No regrets there. Have shot one but with a hogsback stock. That thing belted the shit out of my cheek.
Have a Whelen so no regrets. Got to play with it and bring out the potential of the Whelen and surprised a lot of people.
Will never have a regret of not having a 243. Never having one or using one shows wisdom.

Don't feel bad, I waited till I was 70 before my first safari. Wish I would have went 10 years sooner, now my health seems to be getting worse every time I start a new day

I wake up read the obituary column each day. If my name isn't in it I get up and enjoy life.
If it is I will just go back to bed
