You can get into the weeds even more since American elk should really be called deer/stag. Elch [elk] being German for moose, Hirsch is a stag, etc. Wapaati is another name for elk.

Folks, I've been up to Erik's twice now, with a couple more trips being planned at the current moment. I assure you that you will have one heck of a time.

Erik is a great host and this will also make for a good trip for a spouse that just might like to see some animals, or do a little bit of fishing from the boat.
