Happy to find and become a member of this Group;
I am a recently retired Hunter & Fisherman who was privledge to have a Fabulous father who taught me well about the ethics of both hunting and fishing. I am also a voracious reader on anything about big game hunting having read all the Peter Capstick , Robert Ruark, CJP Ionides, Tony Sanchez-Arino, Fredrick R. Burnham books to name a few.
I found this site while researching Fletcher Jameison.
I spend my days Training my Retriever ( He is number 9, and so far the very best ) Ring-neck Hunting in the fall and fly-fishing in the spring.
I have a keen interest in firearms both collecting and repairing ( My Father was an amateur gun smith ).
I worked Off -Shore Angola on an Oil rig in 1995, and unfortunately did not take in a Safari when I should have.

:S Welcome: This is place is a great source of knowledge and inspiration. Enjoy!

Enjoy your time here and you may just end up on that Safari yet.

welcome welcome welcome

i have hosted a couple of hunters from canada over the last few years, always enjoy them

Another Ontarian here, formerly Montana. I return home ever fall for six weeks to hunt birds with my dogs ... and mule deer. It was a great season last fall. Probably the best in the last fifteen years. Thankfully because my two dogs are long in the tooth. Fr Britt will be fifteen in May and my black Lab will be eleven in a few weeks. They are both going strong for now but I'm sure they won't be hunting this fall. Sad but we've had a helluva kick at the can.
