Zimbabwe
Matetsi is the most popular hunting destination in Zimbabwe and host a healthy population of Lion & Leopard due to the large herds of Buffalo, Elephant & Plains Game in the area. The Matetsi ECA(Extended Conservation Area) is adjoined directly to Matetsi Unit 1 and Unit 4 and covers an area of roughly 80 000 Acres to hunt. A significant distinction between the ECA and other Matetsi Units is that the ECA permits night hunting of nocturnal species. All hunting quotas are issued by National Parks, and a National Parks representative is present during all elephant, lion and leopard hunts.
The camp is a short 45 minute drive from Victoria Falls International Airport where you will be welcomed to the wilderness of Africa! Situated on a hill top overlooking the valley below, the camp has two thatched roof, on-suite chalets sleeping two persons each. The hunting areas’ proximity to Victoria Falls also makes it possible for day trips.
Mozambique
The Niassa Reserve is one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas, vast, remote, and completely untamed. This immense concession of miombo woodland, rivers, and open dambos offers a true classic safari, where game moves freely across endless unfenced country.
Renowned for exceptional Cape buffalo, sable, lion, and leopard, Niassa delivers hard-earned trophies in genuine wild Africa. Mozambique Hunting is conducted on foot in the traditional manner, following fresh spoor through ancient landscapes unchanged for generations.
