Intu Safaris offers plains game hunts in Namibia through a network of professional hunters/outfitters, each having more than 25 years experience in the hunting business. Each hunting area is only a two hour drive from the capital city, Windhoek. Hunts are offered as packages or species can be selected on an individual basis. The package hunts offer something for everybody, from the connoisseur to the first timer.

Savanna Safaris
This hunting area in the African savanna covers 5 ranches with a total of 620,000 acres and is home to all the typical species found in Namibia. Rifle and bow-hunters are welcome. Some areas are set aside specifically for bowhunters only.

Kudu Safari
Includes:
• 9 Hunting days, 2 Observer days (2 transfer days)
• One trophy of each: Kudu, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Warthog, Springbok, Steenbok, 2 Jackal, Baboon, 20 Birds (27 Species available)

Prices for 2011:
1 x 1 US$ 7,960 per hunter
2 x 1 US$ 7,380 per hunter
Non-hunter US$1,160 pppd

Swakopvalley Safari
Includes:
• 6 Hunting days, 2 Observer days (2 transfer days)
• One trophy of each: Blue Wildebeest, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Warthog, Jackal, Baboon, 10 Birds (27 Species available)

Prices for 2011:
1 x 1 US$ 5,480 per hunter
2 x 1 US$ 5,095 per hunter
Non-hunter US$815 pppd

Newcomer Safari
Includes:
• 5 Hunting days, 2 Observer days (transfer days)
• One trophy of each: Oryx bull, Springbuck or Warthog, Jackal, Baboon, 10 Birds (27 Species available)

Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?

What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
