A'int none of these in Africa

The wonderful speed goat taken near my home in Wyoming, USA.

Rifle is a period Swede/Danish sniper rifle. One of the first 15,000 M96s made by Mauser Werke in Germany and stocked with Euro walnut. Scope is an old Schmidt 6x42 with huge picket posts. Loads are H1000 under a 160 gr Hornady round nose SP that will hold 1" @100 yards.

Antelope was taken at 60 feet from a borrow ditch as he was herding his does. "Bang, flop"

Nice trophy.

Love antelope hunting, wish I could do it every year

And nice rifle too :)

I like both the rifle and the horns!

Thanks to you all. I do it every year I can draw, 13 of the last 15. Now I'm making it harder.
Took one in 2012 with my 45 caliber Whitworth ML. This year, if I draw, I'll be using a 41 Swiss military converted from rim to center fire. Same power as a 44 Magnum rifle and will hold 4" @100 (10 shots w/320 gr bullet).Group below is @ 50 yards

That's another really cool rifle. Love that you hunt with them.

Here is my 2016 WY speed goat. I used a 6.5 Creedmoor with a Berger 130 VLD Hunter bullet at 200 yards. I did the euro mount myself.

That is awesome. Did you do the conversion yourself? I have a 1869 veterelli that I would love to shoot but they obviously don't make the 41 Rimfire anymore. Ive often thought of having it converted to centerfire but don't know the best place/way to have it done.

Here's a couple of panhandle speed goats on my antelope place.
Bobs was w/his 6.5 Creedmore

Something went astray with the sizing there. Same goat on the wall.

+1 please tell, I have one I want to convert also, I have two rimfire rounds of original ammunition that I paid 40 bucks for, not an economical day at the range, but I love shooting the old war horses! Very cool rifles indeed.

This is my favorite pronghorn I've ever taken, he was the heart shaped one I've always looked for.

My buddy took this nice buck on a hunt in Arizona's Unit 1 a couple years ago. AZ tags are far and few between and when a friend draws a tag you drop what you are doing, pack your Glass and gear and go help. Great hunt in some of my favorite country!

Until this guy posts something on pay it forward free I would avoid him at all costs.

If it hasn't sold by next week I might be interested. Stock would have to be changed along with some other items. I'm already having a 416 Rigby built so money is a tad bit tight.

Hey pal! I'll take all the .375 bullets if they're available.
Thanks!
