Well boys, over a year ago a dear friend of mine gave me a complete Winchester model 54 action with a standard bolt face....so the 275 rigby project began with Ben Piper over at Soroka rifles. My day was definitely made with these progress pics! upload_2019-9-15_22-41-16.jpeg upload_2019-9-15_22-39-28.jpeg

before it is too late, consider a rechamber to 280 rem.
do anything a 7x57 will do and more, and the action should take it.

It is going to be a very nice rifle. Sometimes enough is just right!

I appreciate the input but I have been perfectly content with 275 for years.

Classic Calibre . My father in law has one built on a Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 action. I am curious. Can yours fire both 140 gr and 170 gr bullets ?
My Father in law gets good results with 170 gr

My current 275 rigby is a number 1 ruger from the recent Lipseys run a few years back, to be honest it likes 140gr accubonds so much I haven’t tried anything else!
