The difference between the two party’s, the democrat party has become clear and simple socialist/communist who think government is god and should control every aspect of your life. Republicans are spineless wimps who stand for nothing. There are occasional republicans who espouse traditional American values, they are of course labeled as extremist. Any one that thinks a politician will solve your problems is delusional. The smaller the government and the less regulation the more free we become. Big government is the enemy of freedom. The best that can be expected is for congress to never meet and never pass another law, this sadly is a pipe dream. With that being said I will be back in Africa next June and will not dwell upon politics which will alway be a disappointmen.

The attack upon conservatives globally, not just in the USA, will continue until the liberals are stood up to and get it right back in their faces. The problem is that conservatives are generally a happy contented lot and would rather enjoy life and liberals are unhappy and angry and want everybody to embrace their causes. The third law of thermodynamics must be applied in life - action and reaction must be equal and opposite. You don't have to push them to oblivion, but you do have to push them back to neutral. But push you must.

Happiest days of my life were during college when I didn't own a TV--never even saw or heard the bad news, lol

The USFL tried to compete with the NFL.

Trump bought the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. Made a big splash by signing Hershel Walker to a big contract and took him away from the NFL. Photo is from when Trump signed Walker to the Generals.

Now

Trump has been President and Walker is running for Senate.

Forty years later would you expect a football team owner to be president and a football player to be a potential senator.

Guess I should have posted this on a lighter note.

The trouble is, when the right is in power, they get persuaded to drop anything prosecutorial "in order to shore up peace and unity in the nation." And the idiots fall for it every time. Plus few of them have the guts for it in the first place. (But we see the witch hunts the left jumps on when they are in charge)

There is no persuasion. It is planned in advance. There is no Republican party and very few actual republicans. There is only the Uniparty, whose job is to play ping pong back and forth with the voters. Point the finger across the net, slight change in which "party" is in the lead, rinse, repeat.

Then conservatives say "it could have been worse" and "we will get them next time" as the country is pushed further to the left.

I laugh everytime I hear someone say how dumb the Dems/libs are due to this. They are actually really smart and are playing the game perfectly as "we" fall for it everytime.

The Dem politicians are smart. The dem voters are dumb to keep voting for what they think will be their best interests; but then the Rep voters are equally as dumb by merely selecting the least of two evils rather than someone to actually represent the people.
