No, the globalist have skipped past "warming" and now refer to it as "change"- that way they can blame CO2 for everything, whether it's snow, drought, hot, cold, whatever- it's the fault of burning something.

And the volume of gullibles who don't understand enough science to realize that an unfalsifiable theory isn't even a theory, much less scientific.

You're absolutely correct regarding the American custom market. In this it is like a system of outworkers (many custom-made firearms the result of many hands...one to do the metalwork, another the wood, and yet another the engraving, etc.). Many English guns were made in such a manner, and still are (I know several guys who do work for the big name makers such as Purdey, Holland & Holland, and so on, in the privacy of their own workshop).
Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) UK was staffed with ex WW2 craftsmen gunsmiths who hand made beautiful rifles like the BSA Majestic (I owned a 30-06) at an affordable price. BSA and all it's manufacturing tools was apparently sold to India, I wonder what sort of rifles are being turned out if the plant still exists.

Here in our media write this: "Member of the US House of Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter that the crisis in the Texas power system is what happens when money is not invested in green energy." It's true?

If she said that, and she probably did, it's 180º away from reality. There are giant wind farms in north Texas, out west of Fort Worth. I stand to be corrected, but those were the first to go offline when the cold weather came rolling in.

Not for nothing, but some solar physicists (I think) from your country have been predicting sustained cold weather due to the coinciding of the 11- and 25-year solar cycle minimums. We had "little ice ages" as a result of solar minimums Maunder and then later Dalton.

Aren’t you supposed to use the politically correct buzz words “climate change” when talking about the strange weather?
The problems with the power grids are politicians that don’t know poop from puddy and regulate the shit out of the industry. Also don’t allow for proper rate increases as people think electricity is like the air we breathe FREE.
Sorry for the rant, hope everyone is coping with the bad situation and be safe.

Bingo!

The sun is the primary source of heat in our solar system.

Humans ignore solar cycles, sunspots, etc. In modeling climate change they don't even consider the sun in most models.

Scientists say frozen poles have met at the equator. Fossil remains show it was warm enough for mega fauna and flora to live above the artic circle.

Yet modern man thinks he is the primary factor in climate change. The hubris!

Yep, on Svalbard Island, no less.

Between the end of the Pleistocene and mid-Holocene (~16,000 BC to ~7000 BC), evidence indicates about 400 feet of sea level rise, and little or none since. That's an average of 1 meter of sea rise every 75 years.

If all of Antarctica and Greenland melted tomorrow, the seas would probably rise by about another 200-250 feet.

Kinda funny. People talk about the land bridge between eastern Asia and Alaska that existed during the last ice age. If you look at a topographic map of the sea floor, what you see is that the land "bridge" was more than 1000 miles wide, and stretched from the Arctic circle to below the Aleutians. Anything presently shallower than ~400 feet was dry land until about 18K years ago.

Back then, Australia was a (long but do-able) canoe ride from Indonesia, and Australia and Papua/New Guinea were the same land mass. There were a great many fewer islands that made up both Indonesia and The Phillipines, and the Malay peninsula was more than a tiny sliver jutting out into the Indian Ocean.

I believe they say those fossils date back to when those land masses where the fossils were found were in much more southerly locations. So that palm tree probably didn't grow above the arctic circle but further south albeit in much warmer times and was transported north during normal plate shifting.

This is my understanding anyway.

Crocs and hippos etc remains found under london.....and why is Greenland called that when it's mostly been under ice.....ice is melting and viking farms and settlements are being found....and that's not too long ago...so.....

And the more I keep reading and hearing about this sort of bullshit the more fkd off i get....

Are you ready for this week’s absurdity? Here’s our Friday roll-up of the most ridiculous stories from around the world that are threats to your liberty, risks to your prosperity… and on occasion, inspiring poetic justice.

“Chestfeeding People” is the New Gender Inclusive Term in UK Hospitals

The Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals are part of the UK’s National Health Service network.

In a recent bulletin, the hospitals lay out their new policy on “Gender Inclusion Language Guidance in Maternity”.

“For us, a gender-additive approach means using gender-neutral language alongside the language of womanhood, in order to ensure that everyone is represented and included.”

Apparently the term ‘breastfeeding’ is now offensive according to our social warlords. And it’s even more offensive to refer to a mother who’s nursing as a “breastfeeding woman,” because that terminology is not gender-inclusive.

So the hospitals will therefore begin referring to such people as “chestfeeding people”.

The hospital cites precedents set by the British Medical Association which “recognises that a large majority of people who get pregnant and give birth are women however some may be trans men or non-binary people.”

Therefore, the term “pregnant people” is more politically correct than “expectant mothers”.

Getting the right answer in math class is White Supremacy

A recent update from the Oregon Department of education encourages math teachers to sign up for an online course meant to “Dismantle Racism in Mathematics Instruction.”

The course tells math teachers, for example, that “White supremacy culture shows up in math classrooms when... [t]he focus is on getting the ‘right’ answer.”

Other white supremacist math practices include tracking students’ progress, and requiring students to meet academic expectations.

Google Offers “Black-Owned Business” Label to Online Retailers

Google now allows Black-owned online retailers to add a label which says a business, “identifies as black owned.”

However, there does not appear to be any proof required to change your business identity to black-owned.

We wonder whether Google will eventually have to start auditing some entrepreneur’s claims... or how they’ll set up an adjudication process if someone identifies as Black, but consumers dispute the claim.

In case you’re wondering, Google has no labels for businesses owned by trans, non-binary, Native American, disabled, queer, etc. individuals.

Singer Fined €3000 for Singing With his Son

A Bavarian court fined a German folk singer €3000 for violating child labor laws.

His crime: allowing his then four year old son to sing a song with him on stage in 2019.

The father and son sang “What a Wonderful World” while the rest of the family, and audience, watched. The German government considered this “employing” the child for the half hour or so he was on stage.

If this had occurred between 8am and 5pm, no crime would have taken place. But because German law prohibits children from performing after 5pm, the 8pm concert violated the child labor law.

So the German government is treating this dad as if he sent his son down into the coal mines.

Wow. The absolute stupidity of the world we live in today

A Green’s politian in Poland, whose name I will not mention in order not to promote her in search engines (still legal to say “her” isn’t it?) stated today that it’s time to ban dairy and meat commercials just like cigarette ads are banned. This is from so called “pro-choice” people...

If

had existed in the American Revolution, they would have sided with the Tory establishment, deplatformed Sam Adams, put misinformation stickers on John Adams's posts, and accused George Washington of "inciting insurrection." They are an elite mouthpiece, best ignored.
