$1 million bail set for Lancaster protesters decried as 'blatantly unconstitutional'
USA TODAY

Bail was set Tuesday at $1 million for several protesters arrested during demonstrations against a fatal police shooting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a move decried by many including the state's lieutenant governor, who called it "blatantly unconstitutional."
Lancaster police arrested 12 adults and one juvenile after about 100 people gathered outside the city's police station Sunday following the police killing of Ricardo Munoz, 27, who authorities say chased an officer with a knife. Police said the demonstration devolved into a riot that caused damage to the station, vandalism to local businesses and a small fire, and officers used "chemical munitions" to disperse the crowd.
At least seven of them were held on $1 million bail, according to police.
The adults face charges including conspiracy to commit arson, riot, institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct. One has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The 13 defendants range from 16 to 43 years old and live in Lancaster and surrounding communities.

Peaceful protesters from Portland and Seattle may find that "peaceful" has a different definition in the Lancaster's of America.

DA's and Judges might find that $1m bail gets lowered on appeal, but protesters may still get to cool their heels for a couple of months before parents can raise a lessor amount.

but the guy refuses to drop the issue and keeps coming back again and again like a dog with a bone: tedium as nauseum!! IMO his almost worship of Trump has tunnel-vision.

If you think I will ever relent to your mindset giving you the last word, you are sadly mistaken. If you find my tenacity towards you nauseating, you can certainly check out of the conversation. I, for one, won't miss you. I'll stop replying to your comments when you stop posting nonsense. You have asserted incorrectly and often that I am a blind follower of Trump referring to him as "my poster boy" on more than one instance. You obviously have not have read any of my previous posts on this or any other political topic going back 233 pages on this thread alone and counting... Your assessment of my view of this POTUS is about as wrong as your assessment of everything else to which you have opined so far.

I knew exactly what I was getting in Trump. He is the exact same character now as he was then. Like many Americans in 2016, I skeptically and hopefully held my nose and voted for Trump because the alternative was unthinkable. HRC would have been bad for this country, but the damage would not likely have been irrevocable. With this current fool, along with his cast of string-pullers, and the current platform of the democratic-socialist party in the USA, the alternative for 2020 is exponentially more unthinkable. Our founding principles, our freedoms, and our very way of life are at stake. The costs could not be higher. It's really quite that simple.

In 3.5 years, I have gone from cringing at Trump's hyperbole and brashness to enjoying how he torments his political foes and the biased mainstream media who continue to take the bait ever time he offers it. I will gladly tolerate the character flaws of a POTUS who is imperfect and unapologetic to preserve capitalism, and the Constitution. I'll take a "non-presidential" POTUS who sincerely loves this country and has fought unprecedented obstruction to deliver what he promised over a "presidential" articulate, community organizer, or senile puppet any day of the week. This has nothing to do with blind allegiance to anything. It has to do with common sense. My livelihood, and my quality of life is better under Trump and that's why I will vote for him again.

Can you imagine the MSM had the Obama administration been able to manage this breakthrough?
No. He was too busy going around the world to "apologize" and try to rewrite history.

Pretty amazing isn't it!

Abraham Accords. What a classic name for this agreement.

Jared Kushner started on this before the inauguration. Trump's first foreign visit was Riyadh.

Most had bought into the Foggy Bottom conventional wisdom that there had to be a two state solution, before peace in the ME could happen. Kushner gave the Palestinian's about a month, then went about negotiating peace without the Palestinian Arabs who had no intention of a peace agreement.

Timing is important. This couldn't have been done if the Wahhabi's still had the power they had 20 years ago. This also couldn't have been done without the rise of MBS. The UAE and Bahrain are initial signators, but this probably doesn't get done without the full support of KSA which will sign later.

Give Trump/Kushner credit for looking completely outside the box. He did the same with Syria, Kurds and Turkey when the world thought the Kurds would be massacred and we had turned our back on them.

The Deep State, both Democrat and Republican are running scared. The money will dry up without wars. Imagine being the politician campaigning for war in this day and age.

Pax Orbis!

Less than 4 years ago, this was the conventional wisdom of America's top leaders.

This didn't age well.

laughed my ass off when I saw this

Tired of Make America Great Again, I'm thinking about having a tee shirt made (since a hat would be too small). It would say AMERICA IS GREAT on the front. On the back it would say LET'S KEEP IT GREAT. Only thing is would the motto be AIG-LKIG? That sounds like some sort of Wall Street firm- so I need to work on the wording a little. Any ideas?

Has not the campaign pivoted to Keep America Great?
