One of my salesman takes regular cheap vacations with his family to Mexico, needless to say that has ended for the time being. Lucky they just returned a few weeks ago.

I have some cow hides in a Mexican tannery. Who knows if I will ever see them again.

At one time I pondered the idea of buying a Mexican hacienda / ranch.

We were VII Corps’ primary counter fire unit - breached with 1st ID and then linked up with 1st AD for the culminating battle of Medina Ridge. In a campaign of very free ROE, all I can say is no Iraqi artillery unit in range of our MLRS ever fired more than once at either division.

I believe PV has been somewhat of a hotspot for kidnapping / ransom for some time.

Two very wealthy friends were in PV a few years ago and was hassled by a cop for an hour, over him wanting $100.00. The friends argued with the cop and only offered $20.00. The cop finally gave in and took the $20.00, the friends laughed about it, because they both had thousands in cash in their pockets. Probably not a smart move on the friends side, considering their families were with them, but I guess they have a story to tell.
