And anybody that doesn’t believe that has never worked calves through a chute for banding, branding and vaccination. Or pulled calves from first calf heifers in February. Or found collapsed veins for calcium and dextrose IV’s. Or…

Or cut horns, or remove gain green out of a cows broken leg on christmas eve or did the mignight dash because the cattle got thru the fencing, or ripped your stiches out from surgery because a cow was having problems birthing. I understand.

Canada may be a little pissed due to Trump's goofy behavior but unlike other nations they are willing to cut us a little slack due to our long and deep friendship as next door neighbors.

We don't have that with ANYBODY ELSE even England, although England has in the past been a good friend.

The rest of the world is rolling their eyes and holding their nose while smiling and giving Trump false compliments in hopes of somehow making peace in the idiotic trade war he started.

Thank God we have one friend left in the world.

We may desperately need them.

I wonder why. It’s a good business and the US dollars it brings in go far in those parts of the country.

I don’t know a lot of guides in Canada. I know 3. They are all leaving. None for the USA, I’ll mention.

I go to 5 to 6 brandings a year and help with preg checking, weaning and moving pastures. Out of all the brandings I go to only one is done in a chute and on a calf table. All the others are rope and drag just like they did 150 years ago. The very largest outfit will probably brand 400 + in a day. A lot of states don't require brands anymore but Montana is a brand required state.
I enjoy it and was going to buy in a couple of years ago with some pairs run on shares by a good friend. He told me to wait a bit as the prices were a little high then.....hahaha...I'm still waiting.

Trump has become an embarrassing, dangerous and destructive president.

His war with drug dealers is just another stunt to impress his 20 percent sadly uneducated base (they love to see things blow up).

It does present the CIA with an opportunity to terminate him and blame the drug cartels..........which is believable since the drug cartels are so rich and powerful that they could do it.

This is a possibility that would leave a much changed and suddenly more moderate C.J. Vance in charge with a whole new outlook on policy.
