My Dear Fellow Sportsmen,

For the last 18 months after the previous pro Indian bootlicking Awami League government was overthrown from Bangladesh on August 5th of 2024… I had been approached by the Interim Government to act temporarily as IGF (Inspector General Of Forests) until an elected government came to power. Despite being 73 years old at the time and against the better judgement of my family, I took the responsibility & came out of my 19 year retirement from the government service because my country needed me again.

Today, I am immensely proud to say that I have successfully completed my tenure as IGF. Fortunately, Bangladesh Nationalist Party has won the elections by a landslide and our country remains free from the evils of Shariah Law & any form of moral policing which Islamic governments are notorious for implementing. I am personally quite pleased with the outcome. While I would hate for my country to become an Indian neocolony again, I definitely would not want it to fall into the hands of anybody who idolizes the Taliban.

It was a wild 18 months; bringing back much needed discipline to the Department Of Forests. We had to contend with poachers, timber thieves, human traffickers, all forms of miscreants (both Indian & local) and Islamists who just can’t seem to leave minorities alone to live in peace. But I succeeded, despite getting shot in the right arm last month (fortunately it was just a flesh wound) and losing two of my men in the process.

Today, I can proudly return to my retirement once more. Spend time with my family & friends, tend to my nursery, enjoy more hunting (OF COURSE !), complete authoring my second book (concerning my African adventures) and most importantly… return to Africa for my next Safari (preferably for a black rhinoceros). The government gifted me a trophy for my endeavors and finally acknowledged me officially as a veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak war.View attachment 745428

Congratulations my friend, you have more than earned it! Salute!!

Hunter Habib Sir, many congratulations on retirement. Your many contributions here are without a doubt the only one I accept without question. Your wisdom and intellect are greatly appreciated by all.
Of much more importance are your contributions to your country which will echo for many generations due to your teachings of the younger pupils. What a legacy you have left for all.
Again Sir our heart felt thanks!

Welcome into this actual retirement thing. They likely will keep calling - at least for a while - ignore them and eventually they will quit. Enjoy these final years that we have earned.

If the country ever needs me again, I’ll obviously jump back into the fray. But for now, retirement feels good !

Thank you for your service to protect every aspect of your country
From human oppression, fanaticism, the wild forest destruction, the protection of wildlife!
You deserve true admiration and praise for your leadership in doing what most don’t have the courage to do

I just watched Tulsi Gabbard, US Director of National Intelligence summarize the US House of Representatives report of how President Obama directed the false narrative of Russia helping Trump get elected in 2016. The report also mentioned participation of Hillary Clinton, James Clapper and others in developing the Russigate hoax.

Wow! Heads are going to roll...

Its a good start!

Well done sir. Enjoy your second attempt at retirement! I have retired three times and am working again. I am obviously a failure at it, I wish better success for you!

Sadly I have little faith that anything comes of this…

For whatever reason this administration loves to investigate… but is incredibly slow to prosecute..

And until people start actually going to prison, dirty, filthy, lying and cheating in politics will continue..

Put about 100 GS15’s and SES/SIS in prison and the career bureaucrats will start thinking about whether or not they want to play nefarious games…

Until the headcount gets high, none of this ends unfortunately…

Kriegstüchtig is the German word for war-ready. Germany prepares for the worst.

I read posts from our European, Canadian, and some very wise US members of our forum condemning the tough-love the USA is practicing via reducing its funding to NATO. While I cannot imagine not supporting our NATO allies if they would be attacked by Russia or other aggressor, it is good that Germany and other NATO members are planning, preparing for the worst.

Any good logistician practices to plan for the worst, but hope for the best. Any good commander must understand logistics. While the article below doesn't focus on logistics, sustaining equipment is a logistic element as is the meane to train personnel, i.e. training couseware, facilities, and special training aids. It is obvious that Kriegstuchig doesn't overlook logistics.

From today's Wall Street Journal,

Apparently only about 18 percent of the germans believe that the US under Trump would answer the call if war were to come. That might actually make it easier for them to recruit soldiers and increase defense spending.

Funny, when you stop paying for other countries defense you’re “unreliable”; I find that hilarious as the EU has been completely unreliable in paying their own NATO spending for decades.

Germany has shown up for military exercises with wooden poles instead of machine guns and I’ve read that when Russia invaded Ukraine that Germany had about a weeks worth of munitions on hand.

For myself I like the word independent when it comes to polling companies. But perhaps it was the fact that it is a british polling company?

Unfortunately I dont think that Rasmussen Reports will make that kind of polling anytime soon, they are probably to busy with the US polling.

I think it is more a question of what Trump has said and done lately then about the demands on all Nato countries to meet the new 5 percent base line.

My Swedish friend, "Whatever it takes!"

That's why I called it tough love.
